Trilogy at La Quinta Community Services
 
 
Purpose
 
Trilogy at La Quinta Community Services (TLQS), was organized by Shea Homes (the developer of Trilogy), as a California nonprofit public benefit corporation in November 2002. The purpose of TLQS is to promote the common good and general welfare of the community through community enhancements and civic betterment. In accordance with Internal Revenue Service rules, the term community refers to Trilogy at La Quinta and the City of La Quinta.
 
Operations
 
TLQS accomplishes its purpose by providing grant funding to Trilogy organizational and civic not-for-profit groups. The criteria and information on requesting grant funding can be found under Grants.
 
Grants
 
To download the TLQS Grant Application Packet, click here. Applications are due 10 days before the meeting. The next meeting is scheduled for February 8, 2023, and applications are due by January 28.
 
  • Charity Organizations must provide the following documentation: Articles of Incorporation, IRS Exemption Status, Financials for the Past Year, and License/Permits.
  • Preference will be given to organizations that can benefit or provide services to the widest population of residents within the community.
  • A grant must be used for the specific purpose for which it was issued.
  • Grant applications should be submitted to the Trilogy General Manager no later than two (2) weeks prior to a TLQS Board of Directors meeting.
  • Grants must have supporting documentation as to how the funds will be utilized.
  • Grants will not be considered for the following:
    • Political parties, candidates or causes
    • Incomplete applications
